Under construction, West Loop

A new camera and a walk to the barber shop gives you a flavor of the current state of my neighborhood.

I buy and sell cameras a lot. I’ll read reviews and watch a lot of YouTube videos and convince myself I need a certain kind of camera, lenses, etc, and then when I get it I shoot for a few months and have buyer’s remorse.

The one camera I keep coming back to though is the Fuji X100 series. I’ve owned a couple different models now, and after a several rounds back and forth with the X-T2 and some fancy lenses, I realized I’d rather have one camera I know and love. I sold the rest, got a new X100F, and I couldn’t be happier. It’s such a fun camera to use and I can carry it with me everywhere. In that spirit, here are some shots on a walk down Washington from the barber shop that give you a flavor of the current state of my neighborhood.
