It’s hard to stay motivated to take photos during the winter in Chicago, and I haven’t been out with my main camera since my New Year’s Day trip down to Back of the Yards. But I always have to remind myself that I have an excellent camera in my pocket at all times for some quick work.
These shots are from a walk down the street to Build Coffee in Woodlawn, from the Metra underpass at 60th and one of the university plant facilities, shot and edited directly on my iPhone X in VSCO. I’ve used the VSCO app for a long time and I generally like the look and feel of its output, but I don’t really love using it. Now that I committed fully to Lightroom it’s getting harder to fit into my workflow.
