Quarantine nights

The West Loop at night, all by myself

It turns out that stay at home orders make it easier to shoot photos at night. I’m still using a Fuji X100F with a fixed lens, so I can’t zoom in/out to get the right shot. Shooting handheld during the day isn’t a big deal because I can hop out into the street for a second when there’s a break in traffic. When you need to set up a tripod at night that doesn’t really work, but now with so few cars out I can post up in the middle of an intersection for as long as I need. Silver linings, etc.

These are from my immediate neighborhood in the West Loop. I got a few keepers, but hopefully as the weather warms up I can keep working at it.
