I used to base my photography around planned excursions to different neighborhoods. I’d head out for a few hours and come back to unload hundreds of shots, edit, organize, and throw out a blog post within a few days. It often felt rushed, like I was trying to include too much at once. Lately I’ve been making it more of a routine practice as I take my walks around the city. I don’t always grab “the good camera,” but when I do, I usually come back with a handful of keepers.
Assorted moments while the city wakes up for summer.
